Let Dave Connect to Your Computer

Get remote help from David

Sign up, pay for your first hour, and David connects to your screen. You watch everything he does, and you can end it at any moment.

How It Works

  1. Sign up. Tap the green button above and fill in your name, your address, and what is going wrong. It takes about two minutes.
  2. Sign the Remote Access Agreement. Your details are already filled in, so you only read it and sign.
  3. Pay for your first hour. $110, or $75 for members. Your time starts the moment the payment goes through.
  4. David connects. He calls you, reads you a short number, and you tap Connect to David on your sign-up page. Type the number, click Accept, and he can see your screen.

Nothing happens on your computer until you have signed, paid, and clicked Accept yourself.

Already Signed Up and on the Phone With David?

The easiest way is the blue Connect to David button on the sign-up page you just finished. If you closed it, this button works too:

  1. Type the number David reads to you, and your first name. Then click Join Session.
  2. Open the small program that downloads. On Windows, answer Yes if it asks to allow it. On a Mac, David walks you through the Screen Recording switch.
  3. Click Accept. To end the session at any time, close the Zoho Assist window.

What Remote Help Costs

  • First hour: $110, or $75 for members. You pay it when you sign up, before any work starts, and your time starts then.
  • Each additional half hour: $45, or $40 for members. At the end you review the time and sign, and it goes on the same card.
  • Card fee: debit cards pay exactly the price. Credit cards add the card processor's cost, never more than 3%.

Every rate is on the pricing page. Members save on every visit and every remote session; see the annual membership.

Using an iPad or iPhone?

Those work differently. David uses Apple's own FaceTime screen sharing, which lets him see your screen and, on newer devices, tap and swipe to show you exactly where things are. You need iOS 18 or newer, and David saved in your Contacts. Call first and he will set it up with you.

How to Know It Is Really David

  • David never calls out of the blue and asks to connect. You reach out to him, or he calls you back about something you asked for.
  • Nobody else will ever send you to this page. If someone claiming to be from Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, your bank, or "tech support" tells you to visit this page or install anything, hang up and call David at (516) 448-6221.
  • You are in control. You watch the whole time, you can close the window whenever you like, and nothing stays behind. David cannot connect later unless you start a new session with him.

Not sure remote help is the right fix? Call first. The conversation costs nothing.
